Here We Go

Next stop: Australia

The day has finally come! My trip around the world has started with a bang (if you count sitting at various airports in between layovers a bang). Maybe I shouldn't say bang...I am at an airport with protests going on around the country b/c of a certain president's ban... 

Anyway, this is my kickoff post and I would be mistaken without thanking all of the people who have helped me to get here. From the big gifts down to the good luck wishes, thank you. I couldn't have done it without you. 

So, here we go! Photos and updates that I'm alive to come.  And seriously, if y'all want to join me, I'll be easy to find. As long as there's WIFI.
